I have worked with AlfaOmegaChangingLives (AOCL) in 2018 and it was a great experience for me as I learned how to properly communicate with a child. My duties were to work with parents and their children about their needs and what they were expecting from AOCL. Communicating and engaging with a child during their time in our friendly environment facility was the best part of my day. I was making sure that the child is not facing any type of stress or anxiety at school and home.

The greatest thing about this organization is that Alfa loves children and her goal is to provide the best resources to all the children and to expand their knowledge in the field of education for their well-being. Through the AlfaOmegaChangingLives non-profit organization, I was able to connect with my fellow community while offering support and guidance to students and their families. I really enjoyed offering tutoring services to students in my hometown of Staten Island as it allowed me, as a college student, to give my insight to high school students while also connecting with younger students who needed help staying on track during school breaks. This experience was very rewarding and gave me the opportunity to tailor resources for the different educational goals of my community. Alfa help is very important for me. As a single mom, I am working long and very demanding hours with little time on my hands. She drops one of them off and pick up to and from school.
